Fair Trade Committee and the Premium Participants within the Fair Trade® USA programme chose to clean the beaches as one of their environmental projects for the year! Funded by Voice 4 the Ocean, and together with a local organization “Let’s do it Sofala”, they took to the beaches the morning of June 5th with members and volunteers from their community picking up trash, including; plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, cans, glass bottles, and other irresponsibly discarded materials from the beaches of Sofala.
